This 3 piece panel contemporary visual art painting portrays the three major stages of our life journey; U- underage or unborn / Y – youth / O – old. If you rearrange the letters it will be read YOU.
Underage / Unborn – the fetal position, the colours representation of deep black means derived from the void. The transition colours from dark violet to bluish effects to blue-green then the appearances of scattered maroon, red, red-orange and orange are the energy impression of given life.
Youth – The oblatus image with the open chest, extended arms are impressions of the pinnacle of youth, vitality, and strength facing the journey with all hope and courage while the world is watching.
Old – The darkness hovering, the glooms inviting and the consummation of energetic colours of maroon, red, red-orange, and orange to bluish strokes to violet and dark void represents that every journey has its inevitable ending. The images of the old person with a cane, the crowd behind, the woman embracing, the peeping of moon expresses that we all here to see your day of departure. While the white line in the middle of three panels represent we are all on the same journey. The dominant white colour is an empty space where you are the artist of how you will colour the journey of life that God gave you in borrowed time.
